The concept behind the remodel of the Big-D Corporate Headquarters in Downtown Salt Lake City was conceived with the history of the building and the Big-D brand at top of mind. The Fuller Paint Building was built in 1922 and used as an industrial paint factory. The sloped floors created challenges but it was important to us to work around that. The high contrast of black millwork, fixtures, and furniture next to the white concrete walls and columns with a touch of classic rich warm woods and leathers, represents Big-D's devotion to timelessness and class while also staying relevant. High end art and light fixtures that incorporate construction materials bridge the gap between the unfinished and polished. Just like the Man in Black, we kept it straightforward and to the point.
